Ken Lacy has over 20 years experience as Executive in the healthcare IT and Information Management space. Having been a CIO for a Health Information Management company for nearly 15 years, Ken has significant experience and expertise in privacy and security issues with both data at rest and in transit. Ken realized that the data security issues faced by healthcare are not unique to healthcare. They exist in the daily lives of consumers and in the daily business lives of the small, medium and large businesses that serve those consumers. Ken founded IPVS in 2016 to focus specifically on cybersecurity for small to medium sized businesses specifically in the areas of managed secure infrastructure, endpoint security and security services such as penetration testing. Ken has a Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech where he graduated with High Honors and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University. Ken affirms that his father who was at one point the CIO for UPS has had a tremendous impact on his views on data security.
