Cathie Brazell
Cathie Brazell is the Vice President of Operations at Gwinnett Medical Center (GMC) in Lawrenceville Georgia. She has over thirty-four years of Women’s Health experience and twenty-four years of managerial experience. Cathie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, a Master’s degree in Health Administration and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. Previous roles include the Administrator of Obstetrics and Business Planning, Project Coordinator for the building of Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando and the Chief Quality Officer for Arnold Palmer Medical Center. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Nursing Honor Society, and a member of Lawrenceville Rotary and is past chair of the Women’s Advisory Council at GMC. In her current role, she is responsible for overall operations of women’s services, oncology services and oversees several support services at GMC. Cathie is an advocate for improving the patient experience for each family at GMC and strives to provide a challenging and stimulating work environment for the staff.
