Job Title: Marketing and Membership Director

Position Overview:
The Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketing and Membership Director to lead strategic initiatives that promote member engagement, grow chamber membership, and elevate the chamber’s brand visibility. This individual will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies, communications, and member relations programs that support the mission and vision of the Chamber.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Development & Engagement:

Develop and implement membership growth strategies, including recruitment, onboarding, retention, and engagement.

Build relationships with current and prospective members through regular outreach, networking, and one-on-one meetings (as needed).

Manage membership database and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Create and analyze yearly member surveys and feedback to guide programming and service improvements.

Organize member-focused events, orientations, and recognition initiatives.
Marketing & Communications:

Design and execute marketing campaigns that promote the chamber’s programs, events, and initiatives.

Manage the chamber’s digital presence including website content, event calendar, weekly newsletter, email marketing, and social media platforms.

Design promotional materials (print and digital).

Oversee the creation of the Chamber’s yearly Healthcare Guidebook and Guidebook, providing content and working directly with the publisher.

Coordinate with media outlets for advertising and public relations opportunities.

Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
Strategic Initiatives:

Collaborate with the CEO on long-term planning to support organizational growth.

Analyze membership trends and marketing data to optimize campaigns and strategies.

Research and present findings to the CEO on what is working for other Chambers and the latest marketing trends.

Serve as staff liaison to all Chamber Committees.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or membership-based organizations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse business sectors.

Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact, Canva, CMS platforms, and social media management).

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of Chamber of Commerce operations or association management preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
-
$45,000 - $55,000: Salary commensurate with experience.
